Children are selected to be part of an Eco Council. They monitor use of energy in school and look at ways to reduce this. They also make suggestions to ensure reuse and recycle is part of school life. Members of the council regularly discuss issues with their peers and bring their views to meetings.
Eco Council – Amazing Work
Our eco-council have done some amazing work with Diane, a local brownies leader. She came in and worked with them to make a lifesaving blanket for the homeless. The children learned lots about the project and asked lots of important questions showing great empathy and understanding. We are very proud of them for thinking of others.
