My name is Val, I am a retired AHT I have worked for Durham County Council for 40 years as an EYFS and KS1 teacher. I retired in August 2018 after being a teacher for 31 years.
Working with venerable children in an area of great deprivation gave me a lot of pleasure and satisfaction seeing children reach their potential. I was very proud of where I worked and the community I worked in.
I was a respected member of the school and community having a good relationship with Children, staff, parents and outside agencies I worked with.
